Terms of use
Purpose and scope
These general terms govern the use of the edlmonaco.com website and the booking and delivery of the property-inspection and related services offered by EDL Monaco SARL. Any booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
Definitions
“Company” means EDL Monaco SARL; “Client” any person, agency or individual requesting a service; “Service” the inspection or any related service; “Report” the record produced by the Company; “Parties” the persons present or represented during the intervention (tenant, landlord, agent).
Services
The Company carries out move-in and move-out inspections (apartments, villas, commercial premises and offices), furniture inventories, pre-works inspections — notably to record the condition of adjoining properties — and 360° virtual tours. Services are performed by a neutral, independent third party.
Booking and confirmation
Bookings are made online through the scheduling module or via WhatsApp. A booking constitutes a request for service and gives rise to a confirmation. The Company reserves the right to reschedule an appointment in the event of unavailability, force majeure or lack of access to the property.
Representation and power of attorney
Each party must be present or duly represented during the intervention. Where a party is represented, a power of attorney is provided beforehand or handed over on the day. Without valid representation, certain entries in the report may be recorded unilaterally.
How the inspection is carried out
The expert walks through the property with the parties, photographing and commenting on each room and item of equipment on a tablet. Once all observations have been recorded, the parties sign the record electronically on the tablet. The service is fully digital.
Status of the document and electronic signature
The report is a document drawn up in the presence of the parties or their agents. The electronic signature collected on the tablet constitutes the signatories' acceptance of the content of the record.
Report delivery
The complete PDF report, including the photographic record, is delivered within 24 to 48 working hours after the inspection, via a secure link. Reports are issued in French.
Pricing and invoicing
Rates are fixed and provided on request, then confirmed when the appointment is made; they vary according to the nature and size of the property. To obtain our rate card, contact us by email or WhatsApp. Services are invoiced to the Client after the intervention, in accordance with the agreed terms.
Cancellation, rescheduling and lack of access
Any cancellation or rescheduling must be communicated to us as soon as possible. If the parties are absent or the property cannot be accessed at the agreed slot, the service may still be charged.
Client obligations
The Client undertakes to provide accurate information, to ensure access to the property at the agreed slot and, where applicable, to provide the necessary powers of attorney. The Client is responsible for the use it makes of the report.
Liability
EDL Monaco SARL acts solely as an independent provider for the preparation of property-inspection reports. The Company accepts no liability for disputes between tenants and owners; the use of the report by third parties is their sole responsibility. The Company cannot be held liable for elements that were not visible or accessible at the time of the intervention.
Intellectual property
The site, its visual identity and its content are the property of EDL Monaco SARL. The report is provided to the Client for the purposes of the tenancy concerned; any reproduction of the site or of the Company's methodology without authorisation is prohibited.
Personal data
Data collected in connection with the services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer of the site.
Force majeure
The Company cannot be held liable for any failure to perform resulting from an event of force majeure or from circumstances beyond its control.
Changes to these terms
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The version that applies is the one in force on the date of the booking.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Monegasque law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Principality of Monaco.
