Data controller

The data controller is EDL Monaco SARL, with its registered office at 41 avenue Hector Otto, 98000 Monaco. For any question about your personal data: contact@edlmonaco.com or WhatsApp on +33 6 32 27 76 11.

Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to deliver our services: identity (first and last name), contact details (email, phone), the property address, the requested slot, the capacity of each party (tenant, landlord, agent) and, where applicable, the details of any power of attorney. During the inspection we take photographs and record observations on the condition of the property, then collect the parties' electronic signatures. We also keep correspondence exchanged by email or WhatsApp.

Purposes

Your data is used to organise and carry out the inspection, produce and send you the report, manage follow-up and invoicing, respond to your requests, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. It is not subject to any fully automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis

Processing is based, depending on the case, on the performance of the contract and pre-contractual measures (delivering the service), on compliance with our legal obligations (accounting retention), and on our legitimate interest in keeping our services running properly and securely.

Recipients

Your data is never sold. It is accessible only to authorised EDL Monaco staff and, where necessary for the service, shared with the parties involved in the inspection (agency, landlord, tenant or their agents). We use technical providers acting on our behalf: Calendly (scheduling), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (hosting).

Transfers outside Monaco

Some of our technical providers are located outside the Principality, notably in the United States. Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.

Retention

Inspection reports and associated data are kept for the duration of the tenancy concerned and then for the applicable limitation period, for evidentiary purposes and to meet our legal obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a service are kept for no longer than three years from the last contact.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: access restricted to authorised persons only, encryption of communications, and delivery of files through secure, limited-access links.

Your rights

In accordance with Monegasque legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, update, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@edlmonaco.com or message us on WhatsApp at +33 6 32 27 76 11. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (CCIN), the supervisory authority of the Principality of Monaco.

Property photographs

Photographs taken during the inspection form an integral part of the report and have evidentiary value. They are shared only with the parties involved in the service and are never used for commercial or advertising purposes without your consent.

Cookies

The site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and for the booking module (Calendly). No advertising or marketing-tracking cookies are placed. You can set your browser to block cookies, which may however limit some features.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to our services or to the applicable regulations. The version that applies is the one published on this page.
